A little bit of background information:
I grew up in Eastleigh, a small town near Southampton. In 1997 I joined the Armed Forces as an Operator of Specialist Intelligence where I developed many skills including self-discipline, remaining calm under pressure and a strong work ethic. Upon leaving the Army I used these skills to build a career in the financial square mile of London working within various Hedge Funds over several years. After the financial crash in 2008 I moved from finance and began a career as an Account Manager in the software industry. I quickly became the Sales Manager for Backup & Security products and headed up a team of AMs, alongside managing several blue-chip accounts including GE Oil & Gas, Balfour Beatty, Commerzbank and Fidelity Investment Management.
Outside of work I am a family man and sports enthusiast who has recently taken up hiking!
A little bit about your current role:
Having moved to Air in December 2019, reporting directly to Owen Richards (CEO), my brief was to bring my vast commercial and account management experience with me to enrich the, already outstanding, campaign management and client relationship strategies within Air. Now reporting Neil Clarke (Commercial Director) I have developed many new skills and learned a great deal from collaborations with passionate people with great minds. I manage several of our key accounts and thrive on creating go-to-market strategies which generate great results for their products and services. My focus is always what is best for the client.
There is a genuine family atmosphere at Air, with everyone willing to offer help and support. It is unlike any other company I have known.
