James Greening

A little bit of background info:

My name is James Greening and I am a Sales Team Manager here at Air Marketing. I have been with Air nearly 3 years now, having worked as a BDE and a Senior BDE working across multiple campaigns, utilising skills such as multi-channel selling, traditional cold-calling and more recently pushing towards a leadership role within sales.

I am a big football fan (I won’t tell you who I support in case I jinx their chance of winning a title) and occasionally play in a 5 a side team. I am also an avid gym goer, and enjoy most other forms of sport or physical activity.

A little bit about your current role:

I started in October 2023 as a BDE, mainly focusing on cold calling to generate leads for our clients, who will try and “close” these meetings and therefore convert the good opportunities we pass over into recognised income for their businesses.

More recently I have moved into a Senior BDE role and most recently a Sales Team Manager role focusing more on helping our sales people sharpen their skills, going from poacher to gamekeeper to help drive more and more income for our clients.

Alex Burgess

A little bit of background info:

I’ve been working across a plethora of industries and within sales for 10+ years, starting on the coal face and working my way to where I am now. This has given me a perspective of what is needed to get the sale over the line and the wisdom to know how to strategically plan out a successful campaign. I’m a big sports fan, I won’t say who I support and what sports as we will likely have a rivalry. I am also very active, be that playing football, climbing and there may be a little history of dance.

A little bit about your current role:

As Account Director, my role is to build and manage relationships with my portfolio of clients, holding ultimate responsibility for the strategic direction, growth and success of their campaigns. I’m responsible for planning and leading client review meetings, maintaining a proactive and analytical attitude to each account to ensure that all opportunities are being maximised, whilst driving the delivery team to deliver the best possible outcomes. My ultimate objective is to deliver continuous revenue growth from my retained accounts.
